Order No. 669n of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated November 17, 2025, “On Approving the Procedure for Prescribing Dietary Supplements by Healthcare Professionals When Providing Medical Care to Citizens” has been published.
Приказ_Министерства_здравоохранения_Российской_Федерации_от_17_11Starting March 1, 2026, healthcare professionals (physicians or paramedics/midwives) have the right to prescribe registered dietary supplements included in the list of dietary supplements if there are indications for their use. In doing so, healthcare professionals are required to include information about the dietary supplement prescription in the patient’s medical records.
