– “Didn’t your mother tell you not to play with your food?”

In New York, they tried to teach children healthy eating through play. The target product was cauliflower, with a weekly 1.5-hour educational game.

The children made collages from food, participated in games to develop agility and balance using food products instead of a ball, and with the help of gender-neutral cartoon characters (tableware), they learned about the process of growing and preparing, as well as the benefits of eating cauliflower.

After the first acquaintance with the product, the children were offered to taste the cauliflower.

The statistics collected during the cabbage tastings before and after the games showed an increase in the percentage of children who tried cauliflower from 62% to 100%!

The study involved 29 children aged 1 to 4 years.
