Horse meat and camel meat may appear on the menu of sanatoriums.
The Ministry of Health has proposed to include several new items in the list of medicinal products. The need has arisen, since in medical and preventive institutions, meals are organized in accordance with standards that have not changed for a long time. Meanwhile, the monotony of the menu bores residents, and regional characteristics are not taken into account.
What is proposed to be added to the list:
– venison;
– turkey;
– horse meat;
– kumiss;
– camel meat;
– lamb;
– iodized salt.
Experts have no problems with the benefits of the listed products, except perhaps for the relatively fatty lamb. The problem is that for many of these items, companies will hardly be able to meet the demand of the healthcare system.
