Iodine Global Network regularly monitors iodine intake levels in 80% of countries
Monitoring of iodine status, presented in the diagram, was carried out in the period 2005-2020 with a study of the concentration of iodine in the urine of schoolchildren.
Adequate intake of iodine in school-age children corresponds to a median urinary iodine concentration in the range of 100–200 µg/L.
