Edible insects: impact on humans and the planet


Spanish scientists have published a detailed review aimed at researching the effects of eating insects.

The results indicate a positive effect on the digestive system, a decrease in inflammatory processes, and the normalization of blood pressure. In bodybuilders, there is an increase in muscle mass due to the high digestibility of protein.

Ecologically and economically, the cultivation of insects for industrial purposes is a cost-effective project due to the reduction of the resources used.
