This article follows an announcement of a recall of a batch of Abbott Nutrition’s Similac, Alimentum and EleCare powdered infant formulas manufactured in Michigan. The recall is related to consumer complaints about the detection of Cronobacter sakazakii and Salmonella in infants who consumed these mixtures.
