Kraft Heinz sells baby food business in Russia

Due to the crisis that arose due to the military actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the American food manufacturer Kraft Heinz intends to reduce its presence in the Russian market. According to КоммерсантЪ, the company put up for sale its baby food business, which includes two factories with a capacity of 30 thousand tons of products per year and local brands, the cost of which is estimated at 3 billion rubles. The baby food market has suffered in the midst of the pandemic, but interest in assets should be high.
