The Russian authorities decided to allocate more than 3 billion rubles for free medicines and medical devices, as well as medical nutrition for beneficiaries. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the press service of the Russian government reports.
“Of the total amount, more than 1 billion rubles have been allocated additionally and almost 2 billion rubles have already been provided for in the federal budget for 2022 and will be distributed among the regions,” the message explains.
According to the government, the allocated funds will make it possible to provide about 3.5 million Russians with free medicines during the year.
