The State Duma prepared draft law No. 119762-8 “On Amendments to the Federal Laws “On the Contract System in the Sphere of Procurement of Goods, Works, Services for State and Municipal Needs” and “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” (in terms of procurement from a single supplier (contractor, performer).
The State Duma Committee on Economic Policy recommended that the bill be adopted in the first reading. The document proposes to grant state and municipal institutions the right to purchase medicines, immunobiological preparations, specialized medical food products, medical devices, disinfectants, medical equipment, and consumables for it, as well as services for the storage and delivery of relevant goods, for repair and maintenance medical equipment from a state unitary enterprise of the region or a joint-stock company, 100% of whose shares are owned by the entity.
