MNI grant

MNI grant

This grant is focused on research projects in the field of therapeutic nutrition. The MNI premium is paid in the amount of 30,000 euros.

The project should focus on the following areas:

  • Evidence of results in improving patient outcomes
  • Effective pathways for screening and treatment
  • Demonstration of economic benefits
  • Progressive collaboration with stakeholders (patients, medical staff)
  • Training of medical workers
  • Strategies for promoting nutritional care in clinical practice

Targeting the general population is highly desirable. The potential of an initiative to influence national nutrition policy should also be considered. International applications are welcome.

Over the past 10 years, grants have provided such research as:

“An intelligent online platform for predicting adverse outcomes from cancer-related malnutrition using GLIM criteria” (Australia)

“A tool for diagnosing nutrition in hospitalized patients” (Spain)

“Improving Home Diet Therapy” (Switzerland)

“Training for healthcare practice” (UK)

This year, the deadline for applying for a grant is May 15, 2022
